Dragon's Den

Round Table raises funds throughout the year and we try to support as wide a range of groups and projects in Kinross-shire as possible. November brings with it a lot of preparation for our annual Dragon's Den event where we try to donate as much cash as we can to local community groups and charities - before our treasurer runs screaming from the room with what remains of the cheque book clasped tightly to his chest!

Our light-hearted Dragon's Den will return this year on Tuesday 6th December. Last year's event saw representatives of 9 local groups and charities pitching for funding from our tame Dragons and walking away with cheques ranging from £500 - £1,200. The successful bidders included youth groups, sports clubs, historic societies and charities. In total £6,350 was paid out on the night.

Barmy Army!!

It might seem strange, or down right lunacy to some, but we are getting let loose on real guns.....or in military-speak
"whilst adopting a prone position, weapons will be discharged at targets using live rounds"

Either way, the sharpshooters amongst us will be gloating and those that couldn't hit a barn door will have a range of excuses to fall back on (pun intended!)

To re-assure the residents of Kinross, we will only be having our customery couple of pints AFTER the shooting!
